Help For Anxiety – Ely, Newmarket, Skype

Help for anxiety:

Having known what it’s like to struggle with anxiety in the past, I’m always delighted to be able to give others help for anxiety so that they too can get on with their lives.

Anxiety can leave you drained, unable to focus or do everyday things you used to do with ease. It can lead to time off work, avoiding people and situations and can have drastic impacts on friendships and relationships. You may struggle in silence with all those thoughts and feelings, too worried to seek help or speak to loved ones in case they get fed up of you.

Recently I had the pleasure of working with someone who came to me for help for anxiety and you can listen to what she said after our sessions below.

Anxiety Disorders

According to a recent review paper by the University of Cambridge, it is estimated that four in one hundred people struggle with anxiety, and that women and young people are the most likely to have anxiety disorders.

In fact, the review found that women are more than twice as likely as men to experience anxiety disorders.

In the face of such a vast prevalence of anxiety, it’s no wonder that this is often referred to as the ‘age of anxiety’, and it seems that existing methods of treatment such as anti-depressants and CBT are having little effect of the persistent high incidence of anxiety disorders.

In the short video below I’ll give you three of the best methods for sorting anxiety that you can take control of implementing from today.

Fear of Dentist & Dentist Phobia

Fear of dentist and dental phobia:

Recently I had my annual check up at the dentist. Whilst I was there they told me how, earlier that day, they’d referred another person to me for help to overcome their fear of the dentist.

Judging by the number of people referred to me by dentists it’s suprising how many people are filled with fear and dread at the prospect of sitting in the dentist chair and opening their mouths – even for a check up, let alone for actual work.

So if you are struggling with dentist fear then read on for advice on how to overcome your fear.
